Namugongo Girls’ Boarding Primary School has a rich history that began in 1945 as a day school with just 250 pupils. By 1979, it had evolved into a fully-fledged boarding school, now welcoming approximately 1,000 pupils. Nestled in Kira Municipality, Kyaddondo County, Wakiso District, and only 15km from Kampala, our school is conveniently located near the Uganda Martyrs’ Shrine—a site that attracts many visitors. Our expansion has included acquiring 20 acres of land in Bulindo to grow food for our pupils, ensuring their well-being and nourishment. Our guiding principle, "Good Seeds Will Rise," draws inspiration from the Uganda Martyrs, emphasizing virtues like hard work, sacrifice, and self-esteem. This motto underpins our commitment to holistic education, cultivating both academic and personal growth. We are proud of our dedicated team of 47 well-trained teachers and our vibrant community of 1,142 girls, aged 6 to 14 years. At Namugongo Girls’ Boarding Primary School, we strive to create a nurturing home away from home, where every pupil can flourish and achieve their fullest potential.
